Legislation Stakeholder Workshop | Kenya Law

On 7th and 8th October 2019, Kenya Law held a stakeholder engagement Legislation Database workshop in Naivasha with the main objective of demonstrating the Laws of Kenya database processes so as to determine the ways in which the organization and each of the stakeholders may continue to increase efficiencies within the law revision process. Stakeholders were drawn from the Judiciary, Office of the Attorney General, Parliament, Kenya Law Reform Commission, Law Schools, Civil Society and Academia. During the workshop, Kenya Law was able to demonstrate some of the current in-house processes undertaken in the law revision process, its challenges and the immense benefits of automation to the process.
The workshop was crucial in reviewing the milestones of the Kenyan legislation system and highlighting the future of the law revision process with the aim of making it more timely, efficient, effective and user-friendly.
