Kenya Law was honored to partner with African Prisons Project (APP) in their inaugural law graduation ceremony that was held on 31^st October 2019 at Kamiti Maximum Security Prison.

African Prisons Project (APP) is a community of people passionately committed to bringing dignity, hope and justice to men, women and children in African Prisons by ensuring equitable access to justice and education.  The inaugural graduation ceremony celebrated seventeen APP grandaunts including current and former inmates, prison staff who had successfully completed their Bachelors of Laws undergraduate degree awarded by the University of London.  In attendance to witness this historic event were representatives from the legal and judicial fraternity, business and philanthropy, as well as the diplomatic corps and foreign service.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kenya Law CEO/Editor Mr. Long’et Terer represented the organization and presented gift packs of assorted Kenya Law publications to all the seventeen graduates. These will be of great use to the graduates who will enhance their legal knowledge. In its vision of being the lead provider of legal information towards an enlightened society, Kenya Law continually strives to form partnerships with different organisations in an effort to provide universal access to public legal information.
